My squats are the bane of my lifting existence. I took off the Oly shoes today, maybe I should take the advice and just get wrestling shoes to lift in. The problem is my left knee, I tweaked it several weeks ago and the Oly shoes pitch me too far forward and put too much pressure on it, killing how heavy I can go.
With flat sole shoes I can put myself in a better position for less knee aggravation but I have to set my stance wider and that never feels natural for me.
So now I have to drop weight and let the volume do the work.
