Light legs for blood flow, went a little heavier on the upper body… good workout… but…
The events in Boston weigh heavy on my mind, as they should all of ours. Innocent people celebrating a milestone achievement for a runner, some runners competing in their first, some who just finishing it will be a life-changing accomplishment.
As a lifter I can’t comprehend running 26.2 miles, its out of my realm of thought. Some people do it on the regular and many runners train for years to be able to complete one – no matter how long it takes.
Its admirable, its part of what makes sport so amazing, seeing people push their limits to do what they dream of doing.
All tainted by an act of violence…
Keep them in your thoughts, prayers, whatever you believe… No innocent person needs to see that level of violence and it is a sad day for sports and humanity.
