Those that know me know that I wear my heart on my sleeve. If I’m happy, it shows, if I am sad, it shows. If I am upset, I express it.
Part of who I am is the ability to learn from mistakes I have made. And, again, those that know me will know I’ve made plenty of mistakes.
You don’t live 38 years of a life I have lived (so far) and not have failures.
I took chances, I’ve hurt people, I’ve been hurt and I grow. With each mistake I make in my life, I’ve learned. I do my best not to repeat mistakes, especially if I hurt others, and I have been through some major internal rebuilding to ensure I never do.
It’s May 2013. I was born in 1974 and I know where I belong in this world and it took me a very long time to find that, along the way was a lot of growing pains and a lot of learning. We never stop learning and I can only hope I’m a better man than I was 3 years ago. I think I am, I am sure I am.
Where is this coming from? That’s for my mind and heart only. You can learn from this in knowing you control you. You change you. I’ve fought hard to be a better man and I will never stop fighting. It took me a lot of lessons to learn how to be, and being humbled to the point of demanding I be better.
I can’t pay for my past, that’s impossible, I can only make the present and future better. We all have to understand we can never change what happened yesterday, but we can make tomorrow better.
I don’t believe in fate nor destiny. I believe in actions and creating the path by your own will. If you work hard to be better every single day, be stronger mentally every single day, treat yourself and others with respect, learn from mistakes, be man enough to say I’m sorry and mean it…. You will create a better world for yourself and others around you.
Take my words to heart, I learn daily and I will never stop learning. Create a better you, be humble, be good, learn lessons in life and be a better person than you were and no matter how much money you have, no matter how much you acquire, it will pale in comparison to the type of person you grew into.
