Ever have one of those days when you were dying to get to the gym, dying to lift and then it sucked.
Today was that day…
I kept squats light because nothing felt right and ended after hamstring curls because they even felt like shit.
Screw it. Shut it down after those and it’s been a very long time since that happened.
SAFETY SQUAT BAR SQUAT
Set 1: 165 lbs × 3
Set 2: 165 lbs × 3
Set 3: 255 lbs × 2
Set 4: 255 lbs × 2
Set 5: 345 lbs × 2
Set 6: 345 lbs × 2
Set 7: 345 lbs × 2
Just did a few sets at 345. Form sucked bad for some reason and they felt like I had the pop of an 85 year old man. Pissed me off when I can easily do a lot more. That’s how I knew it was going to suck, when things feel slow.
HAMSTRING CURLS
Set 1: 110 lbs × 15
Set 2: 110 lbs × 15
Set 3: 110 lbs × 15
As I said, shut it down for today before I added salt to the wound.
Live to fight another day, right?
