I have been neck deep in my Walk Extreme challenge and sticking to it like the proverbial mouse to cheese. My issues with gluten force me to forgo those products, and because I choose to categorize gluten free bread as part of a cheat meal, I accidentally am following a Paleo Diet, again, almost.
Nutrition isn’t complicated – food issues are
I can give you my exact diet and tell you what I will eat every single day. I choose this type of eating for a very simple reason; I thrive on structure and a regimented plan.
What I have accomplished with this type of eating is removed all obstacles from my way other than my own mental capacity to stick to the plan.
It is boring but it works.
What has it accomplished so far?
In the few weeks since I have started the Walk Extreme challenge I have:
I won’t lie, the last one is huge for me. I am like everyone else where I am prone to binging on food I shouldn’t binge on, but sticking to this plan has largely diminished those cravings because I am able to wait until my planned “cheat”, and also benefit from knowing I WANTED to eat that way for a meal, not because I gave in to temptation.
That is the cool thing about nutrition and food. You need to find the best plan for you. For some it is macros with extreme flexibility, for some it is following a plan similar to mine and assault your cravings with forced structure until you overcome them, for some it is following a Precision Nutrition based layout, and for some it’s keto.
Which one is ideal for you?

Thank you
